BSH, Europe’s leading home appliance manufacturer, faced conversion challenges despite high web traffic. By redesigning and optimizing their Turkish website with data-driven UX improvements and backend updates, we achieved a 15% increase in lead generation and improved engagement.
BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, Europe’s largest home appliance manufacturer, was founded in 1967 as a Joint venture and now operates over 40 factories worldwide, with brands including Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau, and Neff. The company generated €15.9 billion in revenue in 2022. Despite substantial traffic, BSH Turkey’s website underperformed in conversions due to outdated backend systems and poor user flows. Partnering with Redefine Web, the goal was to build a modern digital framework that preserved content while enhancing usability, speed, and engagement pathways. The collaboration focused on upgrading technology, refining user experience, and boosting lead generation effectiveness.
Before working with Redefine Web, BSH Turkey’s website struggled with usability and performance issues, despite attracting high traffic due to its strong brand authority. Many visitors left without meaningful engagement or conversions.
An outdated backend created bottlenecks, slowing performance and limiting frontend improvements. This made updates difficult and hurt both developers and users. On the frontend, navigation was not user-friendly, making it hard for customers to find information or connect with the correct department.
At the same time, BSH could not risk losing its strong SEO rankings. Although traffic was steady, a poor on-site experience led to low conversions. Weak funnel optimization exacerbated the issue, with minimal conversion pathways for visitors.
BSH required a comprehensive UX overhaul to modernize its foundation, maintain SEO, enhance navigation, and drive stronger engagement and conversions.
Redefine Web implemented a tailored UX-focused redesign and backend optimization strategy for BSH Turkey. Our approach balanced technical upgrades, usability improvements, and SEO preservation to ensure measurable performance gains. We developed a more functional backend system, streamlined navigation pathways, and applied a data-driven methodology to identify and resolve bottlenecks impacting conversions.

By optimizing both backend and frontend functionality, Redefine Web helped BSH Turkey strengthen its digital presence and convert high traffic into measurable results. The redesigned website improved navigation, addressed technical bottlenecks, and facilitated seamless engagement, resulting in a 15% increase in lead generation, extended session durations, and enhanced overall site performance.
