Stella Maris Hotel offers a lavish stay in Svendborg, right by the water. Guests can choose from 36 luxury rooms, all equipped with LED TVs, free Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms. The hotel features meeting spaces, a bar and lounge, and a terrace with stunning views. Dining options include the on-site French restaurant, Stella Maris, which boasts a wine cellar and garden views. Guests are treated to a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and can enjoy 24-hour room service.
Stella Maris Hotel de Luxe’s existing website had several design flaws hurting the conversion rates. Besides an outdated design, the website relied on an external booking platform that caused confusion and a high cart abandonment rate. As a result, the website needed a complete redesign and a revamped booking system.

The hotel was relying on an organic search to generate bookings. As a result, we needed to create website copy with target keywords relevant to the site’s target audience. As the client continued to use a third-party booking system, we had to ensure the website’s booking system updated the rooms’ availability automatically whenever someone booked their stay on other platforms.
We designed a custom solution to enhance the conversion rate notably. We integrated a new booking system that syncs with third-party sites like booking.com, ensuring room availability is always updated.
We tackled the issue by analyzing the existing booking process, identifying bottlenecks, and designing an integrated system. This system streamlined the booking experience for users and optimized inventory management. Our approach focused on simplicity, efficiency, and reliability, leading to a seamless user experience and improved conversion rates.
