The brief
A regional economic development agency on the I-81 corridor in Southwest Virginia that drives industrial growth and investment.
The Joint Industrial Development Authority of Wythe County (JIDA) is a regional economic development agency. It sits along the I-81 corridor in Southwest Virginia. Its job is to grow industry, attract business investment and support new jobs in Wythe County, Wytheville and Rural Retreat.
JIDA works with state, federal and private partners. But its old website did not show the region's innovation or its strengths.
