website maintenance questions.
If your question is not here, book the 30-minute call. A fashion engineer answers on the call directly, not through a sales rep.
How much does fashion website maintenance cost per month?
Fashion website maintenance at Redefine Web costs $199 per month on Essential, $299 on Premium, and $499 on Enterprise. Multi-brand fashion houses and Shopify Plus operators run on Custom quotes. Every plan is a flat monthly fee. There are no setup fees, no per-edit surcharges, and no add-on charges for security patches, backups, or collection drops.
Essential fits established apparel brands with stable traffic and no active paid spend. Premium fits growing brands running Meta and Pinterest paid social that need faster response and same-day content edits. Enterprise fits Shopify Plus and multi-brand fashion houses where every PageSpeed point is a keeping-rate CAC point. All plans run on a 6-month term. You own the storefront.
What is included in fashion website maintenance plans?
Every fashion website maintenance plan includes uptime monitoring at 60-second intervals, SSL renewal, Shopify theme updates or WordPress core and plugin patching, daily off-site backups, malware scanning, and content edit hours. Higher tiers add a web application firewall, subscription platform integration audits, returns platform integration audits (Loop, Happy Returns), quarterly performance tune-ups, and SLA-backed incident response.
Content edit hours run 2 hours per month on Essential, 5 hours on Premium with same-day turnaround, and 10 hours on Enterprise. Every plan covers Klaviyo integration monitoring, Meta CAPI health checks, Loop or Happy Returns integration monitoring, and collection-drop support sprints.
What is included in fashion website hosting on these plans?
Fashion website hosting is included in every plan. WordPress sites run on LiteSpeed with CDN routing through Quic.Cloud, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals monitoring. Shopify sites stay on Shopify's own hosting, and we cover theme performance, app conflict resolution, and Shopify CDN configuration for high-resolution lookbook photography. We keep the mobile PageSpeed score above 90 as part of the plan.
Hosting includes free staging environments, daily encrypted off-site backups with 30-day retention, and free SSL renewal. If you migrate off our stack later, we hand over a clean export with no vendor lock-in.
How does fashion WordPress maintenance differ from a generic care plan?
Fashion WordPress maintenance covers the returns, sizing, and paid-ads work that generic WordPress care plans skip. Klaviyo flow health checks, Loop or Happy Returns integration health, fit finder integration monitoring, Yotpo review widget health, Meta CAPI health, Pinterest catalog sync, and monthly collection drops are all included.
A generic care plan patches WordPress core and moves on. Fashion websites break in specific places (size selector, fit finder, returns portal, product variant URLs) that a generalist will not check until an order fails or a return floods in. We check them before an order fails.
What happens if the fashion website goes down?
Uptime monitoring at 60-second intervals alerts our on-call engineers before customers notice. Premium tier holds a 14-minute average incident response window. Enterprise carries a 2-hour SLA on critical incidents backed by service credits. Custom plans include a 1-hour SLA.
Every incident gets a written post-incident report the next business day. Downtime during a collection drop, a Meta or TikTok Shop flight, or a paid Pinterest push triggers priority escalation on every tier because every minute down burns ad spend and pushes bounced buyers to competitor storefronts. Drop-day incidents get treated as sev-1 by default because inventory sell-through pacing depends on hour-by-hour conversion.
Do fashion website maintenance plans include collection drops?
Yes. Monthly collection drops and content edits are included every month. Essential covers 2 hours of edits and 1 collection drop per month. Premium includes 5 hours and 3 collection drops with same-day turnaround. Enterprise includes 10 hours and unlimited collection drops. Custom is scoped per operation.
Collection drops include building the collection landing page, wiring product variants and inventory, adding lookbook photography, configuring size and color selectors, and setting up the Klaviyo drop sequence. Pre-launch waitlist capture, countdown timers, and back-in-stock notifications wire in as standard for drops on Premium and above.
Do you monitor Klaviyo, Loop Returns, and Meta CAPI integrations?
Yes. Klaviyo, Loop Returns, Happy Returns, Recharge, Yotpo, Meta CAPI, TikTok Events API, Pinterest Conversions API, and Google Enhanced Conversions monitoring are all included in every fashion website maintenance plan. We watch the API connection, the data flow, and the event fire rate.
When Klaviyo, Loop, or Meta pushes a breaking change (which happens 4 to 8 times a year), we patch it before it kills conversion tracking or returns UX. Broken CAPI is invisible to most fashion operators for 2 to 3 weeks. In that window, Meta bids blind, and keeping-rate CAC climbs 20 to 40 percent silently. We surface the drop the same day it happens.
Are fashion website care plans ADA-aware?
Yes. Fashion website care plans include ADA accessibility monitoring on every tier. Premium and above include an annual WCAG 2.1 AA audit covering keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, form label accuracy, and alt text on all product images.
ADA lawsuits against fashion DTC brands have climbed sharply since 2022. Most target the size selector, the fit finder, and the returns UX. We fix the flagged items inside the maintenance hours, not as a separate charge. If your operation has been served an ADA complaint, we can prioritize the audit inside the first 30 days of onboarding.
Do fashion website maintenance plans include holiday and BFCM prep?
Yes. Holiday and BFCM preparation sprints are included on every fashion website maintenance plan. Prep starts October 1 and runs through Cyber Monday. It covers hosting stress testing at 3x to 10x normal traffic depending on tier, promo landing page builds, cart-abandonment flow tuning, Klaviyo BFCM sequence QA, inventory sync verification between DTC and any wholesale, TikTok Shop, or Amazon channel, and 24/7 on-call coverage from Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
Most fashion brands see BFCM revenue climb 25 to 50 percent year over year with dedicated prep, primarily because the site does not crash and the cart works during peak.
Can you take over fashion website maintenance for a site you did not build?
Yes. About 40 percent of our fashion website maintenance clients are on sites we did not originally build. Onboarding starts with a full audit so we know the baseline before we take over. The audit covers hosting, security posture, plugin or app health, subscription platform integration state, Klaviyo flow health, returns platform integration, Core Web Vitals, and any known bugs.
Shopify migration usually takes 3 to 7 business days once app access clears. WordPress migration takes 5 to 10 business days. If the storefront is on a proprietary fashion platform (BigCommerce with heavy custom apps, Magento, or a bespoke stack), we scope a rebuild first.
What is the fashion website maintenance uptime guarantee?
Essential and Premium tiers target 99.9 percent monthly uptime with best-effort response. Enterprise carries a 99.99 percent uptime SLA backed by service credits if we miss the number. That works out to roughly 4 minutes of downtime allowed per month on Enterprise. Custom plans include per-brand uptime reporting and can be scoped to 99.99 percent per storefront.
Uptime is measured by third-party monitoring, not by us, so the numbers you see on the monthly report are independent. If we miss the SLA, service credits are automatic. You do not have to ask. Shopify's own platform uptime rolls into the report even though we do not control it.
Are fashion website care plans on a contract, and can I cancel?
Fashion website care plans run on a 6-month term. There are no cancellation fees at the end of the term, and rollover runs on 30-day rolling terms after. During the term, you can pause for up to 30 days if you are between paid media flights, in a seasonal quiet period, or handling a business change.
You always own the storefront, the domain, the Shopify or WordPress admin, and all the data. If you want to leave our stack after the term, we hand over a clean export, DNS records, and any credentials we hold. No vendor lock-in on hosting, CMS, or integrations.
